ATTENTION SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS
Please set an alarm or timer for 10:20 am on Sunday. There will no longer be a dismissal bell signaling the end of Sunday School and the beginning of morning worship. Your roll sheets and bulletins for your class will be in the wall file on or near the door to your room each Sunday. Extra bulletins will be available in the Sanctuary at the greeter’s table.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY
Wednesdays at 9am and 6pm beginning September 9th. The Holy Spirit You May Not Know by David Jeremiah. Tracey Oliver Teaching. Cost $10. The 9am class meets in the first large room in the Children’s Wing and the 6pm class meets in the church offices. Sign up in the foyer.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES
Students from Pre-K-5th Grades
No children’s church on 5th Sunday, August 30th.
The Personnel Committee will make a recommendation at the next business meeting (Sunday, September 13th at 6pm) to rehire Kenley Whitlock as Children’s Coordinator.
PRAYER FOCUS,
August 30, 2026
Wednesday night WCBC will be hosting a Youth Explosion Rally. We are expecting several youth groups from area churches and teens from our community to be in attendance. Pray that God will use this event to reach students for Christ and to encourage and spiritually energize those who already know Him. Pray that our students will take this opportunity to invite friends and classmates to attend. Pray for Harry Brown as he preaches and for John and Jami as they lead the worship. Pray for God to speak through them and use them mightily. Pray for Cory and our volunteers who help coordinate and organize for this event. Also be praying for Cory as he transitions from serving as our youth pastor here at WCBC to other areas of ministry that God has for him and his family.
