Surely, He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him and by His stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:4-5 NKJ

PRAYER FOCUS FOR
SUNDAY, March 22, 2026

Prayer Guidance for Middle East from Southern Baptist International Mission Board.

PRAY FOR PHYSICAL NEEDS - Men, women, and children are facing unspeakable horrors —emotional injuries, physical injuries, hunger, devastation to their homes and villages. Pray for God’s provision of needs, pray for medical teams providing care.

PRAY FOR THE LOST -   Amid this chaos, the lost are living and dying in darkness. Many question their belief systems and are searching for something more. While the nations rage, God is still in control and near to all who call out to Him.

PRAY FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE GOSPEL - Believers are walking through this crisis with non-believing neighbors, friends, and family members. The opportunities to share the gospel are unparalleled. People are asking for prayer, going to their believing neighbors with questions, and willing to listen.

PRAY FOR THE CHURCH - Believers from diverse backgrounds who are united in Christ can display God’s love to each other and to their neighbors. Praise God for this picture of the gospel lived out by His followers in word and in deed. Praise Him that this is happening in the Middle East.
