PRAYER FOCUS FOR SUNDAY, March 29, 2026
Easter Week, also known as Holy Week, is a sacred time to reflect on the journey of Jesus from His triumphal entry into Jerusalem to His resurrection. Each day can carry a unique prayer focus to deepen your faith and gratitude.
1. Palm Sunday – Praise and Surrender
Thank God for His Kingship and invite Him to reign in your heart. Pray for a spirit of humility to follow His will, even when it is difficult.
2. Monday – Cleansing and Renewal
Ask God to cleanse your heart from anything that hinders your walk with Him, just as Jesus cleansed the Temple.
3. Tuesday – Faith and Wisdom
Pray for discernment and steadfast faith, remembering Jesus’ teachings and parables shared in the Temple.
4. Wednesday – Trust in God’s Plan
Reflect on God’s sovereignty, even in times of uncertainty, and pray for the strength to trust His timing.
5. Thursday – Love and Service
Pray for a servant’s heart, inspired by Jesus washing His disciples’ feet, and for grace to love others sacrificially.
6. Good Friday – Gratitude for the Cross
Meditate on Jesus’ sacrifice and pray with deep thankfulness for the forgiveness and redemption He offers.
7. Saturday – Waiting in Hope
Pray for patience and hope in seasons of silence, trusting that God is still at work.
8. Resurrection Sunday – Joy and Resurrection Power
Celebrate the victory of Christ over death and pray to live daily in the power of His resurrection.
