PRAYER FOCUS, October 4, 2026
The fall season is often associated with harvest time. For some farmers, it is the season when they harvest their crops. Jesus focused on another kind of harvest, a spiritual one. In Matthew 9:37-38 He declared, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”
Would you pray for God to place someone on your heart that needs to be saved?
Would you ask the Lord to begin to prepare that one for the gospel message, to begin to bring conviction of their need of Christ?
Would you pray for God to use you to reach them?
Would you pray every day for them to be saved?
Pray today for Bro. Kyle Smith, who will be preaching this morning, and Erasmo Lopez, who will be leading the Bible study tonight. Bro. Kyle recently retired as pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Pittsburg, TX. Also pray for Bro. Robbie and Laura as they travel home from visiting family.
