Mission Trip to Village of Hope Orphanage For Special Needs Children
Trip Dates: August 4-10th
Fly in August 4th—Fly Home August 10th
Cost: Flights Plus $450 to Village of Hope per person
Projects: finish the work on nine tiny houses in “The Well”. It should be mostly interior work.
There could be some other projects on this property as well.

Cost $389.00. Registration Deadline Wednesday February 28th.
$50.00 deposit due. There will be fund raisers to help offset the cost.

Silent Lord's Supper

WCBC observes the Lord's supper in complete silence. Celebrate access to God through Jesus. Remember Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection by eating a small cracker and drinking a small cup of juice symbolic of Jesus' body and blood. I Corinthians 11:23-29.
Easter SonRise Service and Breakfast
Time:
WCBC members and guests meet at the back of the parking lot for a brief devotional before breakfast in the Fellowship Hall followed by regular Sunday School classes and morning worship. No Evening Worship.
Sunday School Class Fellowship Night
Each Sunday School Class gathers for a time of fun, fellowship, and most likely food! Times and locations for each class to be announced.

Meet at Lakeview Baptist Assembly in Lone Star Texas for afternoon/evening services and loads of fun! No services at WCBC this evening. Times to be announced.
Church Council
Time: 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Officers, Staff, Chairman of Deacons and all Chairman or Representative of all Committees meet to coordinate the church calendar and prepare an agenda for business meeting.
Business Meeting
Time: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Members sixteen years old and above meet to discuss and vote on the current business of the church.
Vacation Bible School 2024
Children learn about Jesus in a fun and age-appropriate way. Adults and youth enjoy serving the children! The exact dates and times are to be announced.

Members and guests share lunch in the Fellowship Hall after morning worship. Please bring side dishes and desserts. Fried chicken, ham, coffee, and tea provided.

Trunk Or Treat Fall Fest!
Community-wide fellowship. Members decorate the trunk of their vehicles for children to play games and collect candy, others serve hot dogs, chili dogs, chips, and bottled water to the community and a prayer station is available to all those who need prayer support. Time to be announced.
Thansgiving Testimony and Praise service
Time: - 7:00 PM
Members and guests share what the Lord is doing in and through them.
Community Thanksgiving Service`
Community churches meet together for worship followed by fellowship. Usually at New Diana ISD auditorium and cafeteria beginning at 6pm. Each church brings a song, a scripture, and enough finger foods to feed their people and some to share. More details coming about October 2024.
Sunday School Class Parties!
Sunday school classes meet Sunday evening for their Christmas Fellowship. Each class plans and organizes their fellowship. Times and locations are to be announced.

ThanG: Trusting, Hoping, Abiding Nearer to God. On the first Wednesday of each month, a worship service focuses on youth from 6th-12th grades. Pastor Robbie Jackson delivers age-appropriate messages with an occasional guest joining the fun. Bible study at 6pm, dinner at 7pm, and youth worship at 7:30pm.
